The Conrad Nashville has opened its doors to friends, families, and pets to indulge in clean contemporary decor amongst  234 spacious guest rooms and suites are complete with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer incredible views of Nashville! It rests in the midst of Midtown Nashville. hospitality upon arrival was warm and welcoming. The staff made sure we had everything we needed for ourselves and our puppy, Parker. During our stay, pets were welcome. They provided a food and water bowl plus a doggy bed.*

If you’re looking for a luxurious and relaxing hotel to stay in while in Nashville, look no further than Conrad. The Conrad is located in the heart of downtown Nashville and offers guests all of the amenities they could hope for, from a world-class spa to on-site dining options that will please any palate. Beyond that, the Conrad has some of the best views in Nashville, with rooms overlooking the beautiful Cumberland River.

The Ambiance

The lobby was spacious and modestly decorated with high chandeliers, and burnt orange, navy, and gold couches. A wide horizontal fireplace added a homely element while inviting you into the lobby to sit and relax. NashvilleLifestyle.com describes it as ” a double-height lobby anchored by a spiral staircase complete with a satin-finished brass balustrade inspired by musical instruments. Throughout the hotel, local artwork is prominent and harmonizes with a rich palette of dark woods, brass, bronze, and neutral tones.”

There is a large bar sitting adjacent to the hotel restaurant, Blue Aster. We didn’t eat there so I can’t cosign the chew but the ambiance was gorgeous with navy suede, greenery, and an open kitchen. Their menu is farm-to-table focused on fresh seafood and a variety of local ranch steaks. Thistle & Rye is their indoor-outdoor bar with a large patio where guests can enjoy live music. The menu includes small plates like like Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewers, and Pork Belly Bao Buns. It was not open yet at our time of stay so we did not get to partake!

The Room

Let me tell you about this room! We loved the room so much, that we extended our stay. As we walked into our suite, we were greeted by a kitchenette area. It included wine glasses, flutes, tea cup sets, a Nespresso, and an impressive collection of coffee and tea. Next, was the dining table and balcony. As you glide through the room, you walk through the living room with automatic curtains, a couch, and two chairs. Plenty of space to stretch out, work, or relax. They welcome you into luxury with soft Italian linens by Frette, and amenities by Swedish brand Byredo.

The King bedroom was extremely roomy with a second television, touch-adjusting blinds, curtains, and lighting. All suites at Conrad Nashville offer city-view balconies and full-size dressing rooms to store your luggage. The bathroom was BREATHTAKING. The classic marble instantly commands you to unwind. With enough space to host a Zumba class, the bathroom features double vanities, a private water closet, and a roomy shower with a bench.

The Amenities

The Conrad Nashville also offers Wellness Suites with a Peloton bike, Echelon Reflect Fitness Mirror, a variety of free weights, yoga mats, and a minibar offering healthy alternatives. Great selection to maintain a healthy lifestyle while traveling. The hotel also has a small gym with the essentials to get a good workout in.

The Rooftop pool was super cute. It featured cabanas, lounge chairs, fresh iced water, and a poolside menu. Take a deep while you look over midtown Nashville. The outdoor pool is long enough for a great lap workout. It was a nice overcast day to relax at the pool.

The Neighbors

We loved having a Halls Chophouse right across the courtyard! Halls Chophouse is a legendary steakhouse born in my hometown Charleston, South Carolina. We frequent the Greenville and Charleston locations frequently for amazing Fried Green Tomatoes topped with Crab, shrimp, and bacon succotash. The Oyster Rockafella, Pepper Jack Creamed Corn Skillet, and Ribeyes melt in your mouth every single time. They are known for their steaks, but their burgers and sandwich are winners too! Don’t even get me started on dessert, the Whiskey Bread Pudding is divine!

Halls states as a family business born in 2009 that “Halls Chophouse had it all: the finest steaks money could buy, an extensive wine list, hearty family-style sides– but it was the service and warmth of the staff that set them apart”. We walked right on over to enjoy a few Old Fashions, juicy burgers, fried green tomatoes, and live jazz music. They were extremely welcoming! It was a great time just as consistent as all the other Halls Chophouse locations.

The overall stay at The Conrad Nashville was a 10/10. The service, ambiance, decor, accessibility, and flair. Thank you to the staff for an excellent stay. It was a pleasure to explore Nashville for the very first time. If you are planning a Nashville trip, also read my 1Hotel Nashville blog to keep your options open. Safe Travels!
