Always holding my breath that something will happen or someone will disappoint me. Being an adult can easily turn into paying bills and sitting on hold with customer service. Why so serious? That youth and vigor before adulthood took over – keep that same energy because we need it.
Don’t lose the glitter. I find myself holding back. Tucking my glitter in a safe because this cruel world doesn’t deserve it.
Why? We are all going through it , over it and around it . Continue to toss confetti everywhere. Share your thoughts and feelings because it may help your neighbor. Boost encouragement. Gas everyone up.
Don’t let minor interactions with bitter folk blow your whole candle out! Send them love. You can spread love and still have some for yourself. Affirmations, prayer and music sessions can help me recharge so I can be willing and able to power up others. If we allow ourselves to be drained by the negativity, we might shelter our tiny bit of power left and become selfish with it. That can cause us to toss on our shades and we may find ourselves blind to those who need our love and encouragement. Don’t hide your talents, blessings or love. Smear it everywhere you go .
