My husband surprised me on our 7th anniversary with a cozy getaway to the Atlanta Treehouse properties. I was amazed by the switch up from hotels to a stunning unique Air BnB. It was a beautiful and thoughtful surprise. The Urban B&B owners stamped ATL all over this cozy destination. You felt miles away from the city although you weren’t.
The Atlanta Treehouse: The Urban B&B Vibe
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was not your typical Airbnb. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into creating an atmosphere that is both cozy and luxurious. Everywhere we looked, there were little touches that made us feel right at home. From the vintage books scattered around the room to the antique furniture pieces, it felt like we had stepped back in time and into our own private oasis. They left us a bottle of wine and instructions for everything in the Air BnB.
The Accommodations – Treehouse & More!
As if one unique accommodation wasn’t enough, this property offers five distinct options for couples looking for a getaway! In addition to their Young Wild and Tree treehouse (which is what we stayed in), guests can choose from a farmhouse, tiny house, historic bungalow, or even a newly-renovated studio apartment. Each option offers its own unique charm and style as well as all of the modern amenities you need for an unforgettable stay. All of their listings are available HERE! We stayed in The Young Wild and Treehouse. The owners of Atlanta treehouse Airbnb were extremely organized with YouTube instructions for contactless check-in! They also made it easy to add on a private chef or couples’ massage to really make your stay something special.
Romance and Play
Built for TWO guests only, there are two parts to this accommodation, Romance and Play. Relax, unwind, and be young! There is a small studio room with a bed, bathtub, couch, microwave & mini refrigerator, and dining table framed with luscious greenery and decor. The natural lighting was gorgeous! There is a private bathroom that was down the hall and around the corner. You have to be aware of passing on other guests on the way to your bathroom. A separate treehouse also has a private bathroom in the main house so dress properly before heading to your bathroom. It is NOT inside your studio. I hope they rearrange that in the future. We didn’t see any other guests on the property while we were there.
The second part is the Airstream treehouse and hot tub out back. The lower deck area has a ping pong table, games, and a private wood-fired hot tub. The spaces provide an intimate, simple, and restful retreat for 2 people. The winding staircase leads you up to THE CUTEST air stream nestled in a tree. It is decorated in pastel pink and sea green. A statement piece is a window covered with Atlanta memes and stickers. There is a Murphy bed located at the treehouse. The airstream also has a mosquito net that you can hang above the bed. There is no heat or AC in the airstream. So we only hung out up there for a little while, it was cold in January!
A Memorable Meal & Memories To Last A Lifetime
My husband booked the private chef add-on to our stay. We were serenaded by Greg the violinist while Chef Sy from Kravee Kitchenz treated us to an amazing three-course meal with flavors like never before! All of this was served right in our very own Airbnb—talk about taking date night up a notch! Greg had all the hits from Mary J Blige to Beyonce. The 90s vibes were at a time high. It was picture-perfect.
